Sandra Meitner Smith, 66, died June 5, 2010, in Fort Pierce. She was born in Alton, Ill., and lived in Fort Pierce since 1945. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Daniel Smith of Fort Pierce; daughter, Teri Timmons of Royal Palm Beach; son, Don Sheffield of Gainesville; sisters, Lyn Palm of Okeechobee and Dina Meitner of Indian Shores; brothers, Steve Meitner of Fort Pierce and Michael Meitner of Panama City Beach; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
