MOORE, Sandra J (nee Mackie)Sandra Moore, 76, passed away peacefully December 19, 2014 at the Ottawa General Hospital after a brave six year battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband Gary of 52 years who passed away September 17, 2013, her son Dwain who passed away December 26, 2013, and her parents Andrew and Elsie Mackie (Pack). Loving mother to Gordon, Carolyn (Kevin) and Kimberly. Sandra will be sorely missed by her grandchildren Brandon, Brianna, Brock, Bryce and Grace. Sandra will be fondly remembered by her sister Pearl Hunter (son David), Mel Keith (Doreen), Gary Keith, Lynne and Doug Powel, Brooke and Ruth McNabb, Bruce and Susan Pack, John (Kim) and Stephen (Jane) Mackie. Sandra was a shining light in many people's lives. She was kind, giving, brave and strong. She will be forever missed. Her family will be holding a private service in the Spring. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the Ottawa General Hospital (5E) who took wonderful care of Sandra during her time there. We wish all our friends, and neighbours in the Glen a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.
