VERONA - Sandra L. (Croft) Miller, age 46, of Spring Road passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday evening Feb. 8, 2011 surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.Sandra was born on Nov. 27, 1964 in Binghamton, New York, a daughter of Thomas and Bonnie (Walter) Croft. She was a graduate of VVS Central School class of 1983 and Cobleskill College where she received a degree in nursery management.On Sept. 23, 1995 Sandra and Eric Miller were united in marriage at the Croft Tree Nursery Pond in Vernon and have shared a loving union together.Prior to her retirement due to her illness Sandra was employed with the Walmart Distribution Center.She was a member of Christ Church United Methodist of Sherrill and was an avid supporter of the Relay for Life.Sandra had a great love for her children, her husband, family and friends and was an inspiration to people who came in contact with her.Surviving are her husband, Eric Miller; her children, Taylor and Dustin Miller; her parents, Thomas and Bonnie Croft of Verona; one brother, Donald Croft of Westernville; one sister, Maryanne DeNova of Canastota, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Anita Miller of New Hartford; brother-in-law, David Miller of N.C., sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carrie and Scott Cook of Kirkland; nephews and nieces; Sean, Emily and Sidney Croft, Carly Teel, Michael and Jessica DeNova, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 3-7 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 464 Sherrill Road, Sherrill. Sandra's funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Christ Church United Methodist, 417 Park St., Sherrill with Rev. Christopher Kinnell, officiating. Private burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Oneida, NY.
