JOHNSON Sandra Elaine (Allen) "Sandy", age 66, was born in Jersey City, NJ. She resided in South Orange, NJ. Mrs. Johnson departed this life on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She attended the Newark Public School system. Upon graduation she attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ; where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She also received the Teacher of Business Education Certificate from the State of New Jersey Department of Education. During her early career days she worked for the New Jersey Department of Civil Service Clerical Training Center, the Empire Technical School, and the Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation as an Instructor and Supervisor. She was a member of The St. James A.M.E. Church in Newark, NJ. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years Marvin Enolls Johnson, daughter: Monica Eryn, sister: Yvonne A. Hopkins, mother-in-law: Elizabeth E. Johnson, sister-in-law: Marlene E. Holmes and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, friends, community members and the Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center Blue Team. Services were held on Friday, March 21, 2014 10 AM at The St. James A.M.E. Church 588 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Newark, NJ. Final Disposition: Cedar Lawn Crematory.
