Sandra Gaye Nelson, age 54, of Crestview, Fla., passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010.Before moving to Crestview in 2004 she was a longtime resident of Wabash, Ind., where she had an 18-year career in law enforcement as a jail officer and later a Wabash County Sheriff's Deputy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ola and Margaret O'Quinn; and sister, Jean Gilbert. Survivors include her brother, Ted O'Quinn of Haysi, Va.; two sons, U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jim Nelson and wife Capt. Cassandra Nelson, and Tim Nelson and wife Jennifer Nelson all of Crestview; grandchildren, Meagan and Kristen Nelson of Wabash, Aidan, Austin and Olivia Nelson of Crestview, and Justin and Brandon Romaca of Crestview.
