Sandra Gail Taylor 1945-2013 It is with great sadness, the family of Sandra Gail (Kitchen) Taylor of Montreal announce her unexpected passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, July 5, 2013 at the age of 67. Born in Fredericton on July 20, 1945, Sandra was the only daughter born to Clifford M. and Glenda M. (MacQuarrie) Kitchen. Sandra was a great lady of faith and served her Lord with all her heart and all her life. She was dedicated and faithful while attending her church in St. Stephen, NB and in Montreal. Sandra was an excellent housewife, mother and grandmother and she always put her family first. She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband, Eugene R. Taylor of Montreal. Sandra was so very proud of her twin sons, Derek and wife Paola of Montreal and Darren and wife Cloremice of Montreal. She was lovingly known as "Nana" to her three cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Olivia and Lauryn. Sandra also leaves behind her only brother, Darrell Kitchen and his wife Janice of Fredericton; nieces, Jennifer Gregan and Stephanie Kitchen (Allen); nephews, Kevin Johnston (Jillian) and Kendall Johnston (Kristine); one great-nephew and five great-nieces; a step-daughter, Krista Grieve and her daughters Jenna and Karlee; her mother-in-law, Margaret Taylor of Fredericton and a sister-in-law, Donna Johnston and husband Arnie of Fredericton and many treasured friends. Besides her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her father-in-law, George Taylor. The family will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Monday, July 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A service celebrating the life of Sandra Taylor will be held from Sunset Church, 429 Clements Drive, Fredericton on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gord Walsh of Gateway Cathedral, St. Stephen, NB officiating assisted by Rev. Joe Beesley. Pallbearers will be Wayne Jacques, Dwight Larsen, Wayne McLaughlin, Gerald Price, Lyle Hall and Glen Larlee. Interment will be held in Montreal at a later date. The family has suggested World Vision Canada and The Royal Victoria Hospital (Transplant Unit) in Montreal for memorial contributions.
