PARKERSBURG, W.V. - Sandra Ethel (Dailey) Smith, 65, of Parkersburg, died Saturday, April 25, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 16) in Elmwood Cemetery, Route 14 North, Lyons. She was born in Lyons, a daughter of the late Harold and Eva (Seymour) Dailey. She worked for the family accounting business and enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid NASCAR and football fan. She is survived by six children, Michael and Victoria Smith of Spain, Marcia L. and Michael Dye of Rockport, W.V., Marc Smith of Parkersburg, William and Roxann Smith of Rockport, Jon Smith of Rockport and Christopher and Cheryl Smith of Parkersburg; 19 grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; a sister, Jacquelyn Minier of Shortsville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Smith; and a grandson, Christopher Burton Smith II.
