Brown, Sandra A. ALBANY, N.Y. Sandra "Sandy" A. Brown, 40, passed away suddenly at her residence on May 19, 2008. Sandy was born in Hudson, N.Y. on November 23, 1967 to the parents of Maxine Garriques and Cunnie Gibson. Sandy was educated in the Hudson City School District. As a young girl, Sandy was an avid dancer, enjoying tap, jazz and ballet. Sandy later went on to graduate from Hudson High School in 1984. She was currently employed by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicle, where she was an employee for over 20 years. In addition to her parents, she is survived by brother, Ricky A. Brown Sr.; sisters, Sharon Brown and Susan M. Brown. Sandy is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 441 Washington Ave., Albany, the Rev. William E. Morgan, pastor.
