Eallonardo III M.D. October 1, 2003 Dr. Samuel John Eallonardo, III, 36 of 4921 Tinderbox Circle, Manlius, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at home after a long illness. Sam had a brain tumor and has battled this cancer since 1996. However, even though he was fighting his ownillness he was able to carry on his duties as a medical internist with his patients as his first concern. Sam was a loving husband and father and Claudine would like to thank everyone for their love and prayers during this long period of time. Dr. Eallonardo graduated from the Fayetteville- Manlius High School and went to attend SUNY Binghamton and NY Medical College. He practiced at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii and the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in Ft. Bliss, Texas. Most recently he was on staff as an internist at the North Medical Family Physicians in North Syracuse and St. Joseph's Hospital. Sam served in the United States Army from June 1993 until 1999. He was awarded the prestigious Meritorious Service Medal in 2000 in recognition of his uncommon dedication to patient care in spite of his own illness. He achieved the rank of Major prior to being honorably discharged. Survivors: his wife Claudine (Romer), a daughter Sydney Paige; two sons, David James and Jonathan Patrick all of Manlius; his parents Sam and Patty Eallonardo; two brothers, Mark Eallonardo and his wife Meghan of Manlius, and Warren John Eallonardo of Los Angeles; his maternal grandparents Warren and Theresa Marini of Fayetteville; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services Monday 9:15 a.m. from FARONE & SON, and 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville. Burial in Fayetteville Cemetery.
