Mrs. Sammie Mae Johnson - SAVANNAH - Sammie Mae Johnson made her transition on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Hospice of Savannah surrounded by her loving family. Her memories will be forever cherished by all who knew her especially her loving parents Star and Fannie Lee Johnson, three devoted daughters, Tiffany Mary Lee (Anthony) McNeill, Sam Shawntai (Gregory) Griffin, Starling Shannon (Troy) Walthour, all of Savannah, Georgia; one son, Jamal Ethan Osgood, of Savannah, Georgia; five grandchildren, Anthony N. McNeill, Jalen Osgood, Jamiya Osgood, Christopher McNeill, Tayden Walthour all of Savannah, Georgia; a caring sister Elaine Sharpe, of Savannah, Georgia; a special friend Larry Smith Sr., of Savannah, Georgia; godmother, Ellen Davis of Savannah, Georgia; two god-sisters, Kathy Pinckney and Jeannette McPherson, both of Savannah, Georgia; a beloved god-brother, Joey Davis, of Savannah, Georgia; and host of uncles aunts, cousins, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, 112 Fell Street. Interment: Woodville Cemetery.
