<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Sally Ann SmithSally Ann Smith, 75 of Tallahassee, died June 10, 2014. She was born December 2, 1938 in Port Jervis, NY. She began her career at the age of 18 at the FISH Memorial Hospital as a Candy Striper and then worked eleven years as head of housekeeping at a nursing facility in Central Florida. Sally then moved to Tallahassee and served thirty-two years in numerous positions with the Tallahassee Police Dept.She had a strong work ethic and never met a stranger as she made many friends. She will be greatly missed. Sally is survived by her sons, Patrick Michael Campbell and Russell Reddington Smith; her sister, Marie Murphy of Orange City; a granddaughter, Bridgette Smith; a grandson, Dylan Smith and a longtime friend, Shirley Flanagan.Friends will be received from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Friday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated that day at 2:00 pm.
