Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Fri., Sep. 19, 2014 at Chandler's Funeral Home, 1425 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way in Sarasota, FL. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Sat., at New Bethel M.B. Church, 2504 Gillespie Ave. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Park in Sarasota, FL. She is survived by 5 children, sons: Robert Sr., Willie Sr. (Mozella), Roy Lee and Donald Jackson; daughter, Linda Bernard; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grands; 2 sisters, Velma Shorter and Thelma Tuina; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
