COHEN Sally, 94, of Fort Lee, NJ, died peacefully on June 10, 2013. Sally was born April 13, 1919, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Harry and Mary Schwartz. A strong independent woman, she enjoyed a full life through her later years. Sally especially loved to stay connected with her family's activities, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spent endless hours on her cell phone, iPad, computer and Facebook. She had a sharp mind and great sense of humor, and was a highly skilled card and mahjongg player. Sally was married for 65 years to Emanuel (Manny) Cohen, who passed away in 2005. She is survived by a son Sandy Cohen (Sandie) and daughter Judy Cohen (Steve Taylor). Her middle child, Michael Cohen (Jeanne), predeceased her by exactly 4 years. Surviving grandchildren include Mark Cohen (Katherine), Iris Weisman (Larry), Scott Cohen (Tricia), Todd Cohen, Justin Cohen, Joshua Taylor, Benjamin Taylor, and Emily Taylor; great-grandchildren include Rachel Cohen, Caleb Cohen, Sarah Cohen, Julia Weisman, Bradley Weisman, and Addison Cohen. Sally is preceeded in death by sister Pearl Maisel (Shep), and brother Sol Schwartz (Gloria). She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved her. There will be a graveside service at Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook, NJ on Thursday, June 13th at 11 AM. Arrangements are by Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, Paramus, NJ.
