NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.- Mrs. Sallie Lou 'Jody' Green Miller, 87, of Stem Court entered into rest April 18, 2004, at University Hospital. Mrs. Miller, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess, choir member and mother of the church. She was also a member of Mims Chapter 10 Order of Eastern Star and Simmons Court 518 Heroines of Jericho. She was employed as a cook at S&S Truck Stop for fifteen years. Survivors include six loving children, Walter Miller, Susie (Charlie) Hammond, Bena E. (James) Tillman, Essie (Tommie) Scott, Georgia (James) Cooks and Grace Hillary all of North Augusta; one sister, Annie Tanks, Trenton; 20 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2004 at Science Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. J.T. Tate officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
