GARDINER, Salina Jane (Sally) December 19, 1931 May 14, 2012 Sally passed away the evening of May 14, 2012, at the age of 80, after a courageous struggle with cancer. Sally was predeceased by parents, Dmetro and Helen Magas and infant brother, Harry. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Mac; brothers, Andy (Ruth), Lloyd (Sonja), Don (Clara); children, Ron (Peggy), Doug (Barb), Marlene Carriss (John); grandchildren, Dale (Willow), Michelle (Ted), Scottie, Duncan (Jessica), Teri, Jennifer, Ryan; great-grandchildren, Casey, Riley, Tyler, Scarlett and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and acquaintances. Sally was a kind, gentle, caring lady. Her family was her world. She will be remembered for her devotion, laughter, huge smile, sense of humour, and bubbly personality. Remember kids, "a swing is as good as a hit ". Her family thanks Dr. Dale Nicoll; homecare nurse, Stephanie Steele and the wonderful compassionate people at Victoria Hospice.
