Sadie Hannifan Woodof KirkwoodSadie Hannifan Wood, 100, of Johnson City, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 4, 2004. She was predeceased by her first husband, Neil Hannifan; and her second husband, William Wood; her sisters, Emma Melius and Flora Norton; her brothers, Calvin, Charlie, Ira, and Henry Bailey. She is survived by her nephew and niece, Robert and Helen Geer; and her special niece, Betty White; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her dearest friend, Sr. Rose Margaret Noonan, C.S.J. She was a lifelong member of St. James Church, Johnson City.Funeral services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Wednesday at 9 a.m., and 9:30 a.m. at St. James Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
