Susan (Livingston) Johnson, 60, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away Tuesday, December 1st, 2009, in Albuquerque. Susie was born February 5, 1949 in Albany, NY, the first of ten children to Robert D. and Mildred A. (Provost) Livingston. She attended school in Schoharie where she met her former husband, Gene Wilkinson. In 1970, they made their home in Albuquerque, NM. She spent most of her career employed by local CPA firms providing computer programming and tax preparation service. Susie was an avid animal lover and was well known in her neighborhood for the many unique pets in city living, including chickens, geese, sheep, pot belly pig, African Gray parrot and most recently, a family of squirrels. She enjoyed the outdoors and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Dave Johnson; her three children, and five grandchildren, daughter, Tammy Hunter and son, Dylan of Tijeras, NM, daughter, Becky Wilkinson of Albuquerque, NM, and son, Tim Wilkinson, wife, Kristina and daughter, Ashleigh also of Albuquerque, NM; two stepchildren, Leslie Simmons, husband, Kory and children, Kayla and Kole of Los Lunas, NM, Eric Davis, Marti Parker and daughter, Samantha of Albuquerque, NM. In addition, surviving siblings include William (Tina) Livingston of Central Bridge, Carole Livingston of Esperance, Margaret (Jeff) Wands of Providence, Laurie (Warren) Bates of Galway, Ann Briggs of Schoharie, Matthew (Stephanie) Livingston of Cobleskill and Michael (Kelly) Livingston of Sloansville. She is also survived by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Robert H. Livingston; and a sister, Deborah Livingston Davis, who passed in June of this year. Susie's sense of humor and caring ways enabled her to have a large extended family of friends. She touched the lives and hearts of all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. A memorial service and life celebration will be held in her honor on Saturday, December 12th at 1 p.m. at the Hise residence, 2000 West Bosque Loop, Bosque Farms, NM. A spring burial service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Sloansville Valley Cemetery, Sloansville, NY.
