Obituary of Sue Carter

CARTER, SUE age 73, of Pelham, passed away, Friday, June 3, 2011. She was a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Alabaster. She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Davenport, and mother, Marie Patterson Davenport. She is survived by her husband, Buddy Carter; son, Howard " Mickey" Carter; daughter, Susan (Roger) Leslie; 1 granddaughter, 3 grandsons; 3 great-granddaughters; and 1 sister, Anne Williams. Visitation will be held Monday, June 6, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel Montevallo with funeral service to follow at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be held at Still Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Bill Oliver officiating. Rev. Brian Erickson and Rev. Denise Mullaney will also speak at the service. Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo directing.
