Stella M. Jordan, 81, of DeLand, Florida passed away peacefully on February 5, 2011, at the Ayers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Trenton, Florida, after an extended illness. She was born in England on February 20, 1929, immigrated to the U.S. in 1953, lived many years in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and moved to DeLand, Florida in the 1980's. Stella became a naturalized citizen of the United States and was always proud to live with the opportunity to make happiness for her family and many friends. Her love of life brought a smile to everyone's face. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denis J. Jordan and is survived by her son, Don Jordan; daughter-in-law, Mary Jo; and grandson, Jeremy, all of Gainesville, Florida. Stell as requested that there be no funeral service or viewing, her remains have been creamted. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory and honor to the charity of choice.
