Sr. Mary Catherine (Sr. Paraclitus) Murphy died at Marymount Convent, Tarrytown, NY, August 9, 2007. She was 82 years of age and a Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary for 57 years. Sr. Mary Catherine served at Marymount School, Tarrytown; Marymount College, Tarrytown; Sacred Heart of Mary Academy, Sag Harbor, NY; St. Anne's, Garden City, NY; St. Pius X, Rosedale, NY; St. Catherine of Alexandria, Brooklyn, NY; and St. Andrew's, Sag Harbor. She was Provincial Secretary and a pastoral care minister at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Visiting Sunday August 12 at Marymount Convent, 32 Warren Avenue, Tarrytown, NY, 3:30 "" 7:00 p.m.,concluding with Vigil Service 7:00pm. Funeral Mass at Marymount Convent, Monday August 14, 10:30 a.m. Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains.
