Sr. Jean Gailhac Walker, 81, died at Marymount Convent, Tarrytown, NY, Sunday, January 27, 2002. She had been a member of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary for 54 years. Sr. Jean Gailhac taught at Marymount School, Los Angeles, CA. She was Dean of Students at Marymount College, Los Angeles, CA; Marymount College, Palos Verdes, CA and Marymount Jr. College, Arlington, VA. She was a social worker for the Board of Education, Shelton, CT and served in parish ministry at St. Mary's Parish in Portland, CT. She is survived by two cousins Margaret Leininger of Pittsburgh, PA and Joan Baldinger of Spring Hill, FL. Visiting Tuesday, January 29 at Marymount Convent, 32 Warren Avenue, Tarrytown, NY, 3-7:30 pm, concluding with a Vigil Service 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial at Marymount Convent , Wednesday, January 30, 10:30 am. Burial Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains.
