HUGHES, SISTER MARY Age 90, of Cullman, was born March 9, 1922 to the late Dr. Joseph W. Hughes and Willie Pearl Ann Morgan Hughes, and passed away April 4, 2012.Sister Mary was the founder of Daystar Home For Abused and Homeless Women. Surviving are her sister, Ann Hughes Barron of Decatur; brother, Dr. Jack Hughes of Auburn; a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Sacred Heart Monastery Wed., April 11, 2012 at 3:00 PM. A Vespers Service will be held at Sacred Heart Monastery Tue., April 10, 2012, at 5:00 PM, followed by visitation.
