SHARON KAYWILSON, 68 LAKELAND - Sharon Kay Wilson, 68, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to heart failure. Sharon was born in St. Petersburg, Florida to George and Kathleen Hetland and has been a lifelong resident of Lakeland. Sharon is survived by her husband, Barry Wilson; mother, Kay DeWitt; son, Todd Griffin; daughter, Stacy Bernard; sister, Connie Freeman; brother, Randy Hetland; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her father, George Hetland; step-father, Bill DeWitt and brother, Doug Hetland. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10 a.m., with a chapel service to follow at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Lakeland Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.
