Somerville<!--Somerville-->Funeral for Sarah Mable Johnson, 89, of Somerville will be Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Center Springs United Methodist Church with Bro. Steve Pilkington officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Center Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson, who died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at her residence, was born April 22, 1919, in Limestone County to William Johnson Edgemon and Adeline McBay Edgemon. She was a member of Center Springs United Methodist Church. Her husband, Randolph Johnson, preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Flavous R. Johnson (Jean), Meredith L. Johnson and Don A. Johnson (Shirley), all of Somerville; one daughter, Emma Faye Cox of Somerville; two granddaughters, Kristi Alexander (Tim) and Kelly Fishburne (Eddie); five grandsons, Andy Johnson (Kara), Jason Johnson (Arlana), Terry Johnson (Lisa), Forrest Johnson (Lori) and Mac Cox; and four great-grandchildren, Patrick Johnson, Roman Maxwell, Amber Johnson and Ella Grace Johnson. Pallbearers will be grandsons and a great-grandson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Center Springs United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
