SMITH, Mrs. Sandra Russell, age 61, a resident of Montgomery, died Thursday, January 31, 2002. Services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Brooks-Cargile Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. She is survived by her husband Carl B. Smith; her four children Dan Smith, Chapel Hill, TN, Lisa Smith Stowers, Montgomery, Scott Smith, Portland, OR, Chris Smith, Houston, TX; her brother, John P. Russell, Jr., Montgomery; her parents, Evelyn R. Atkins and John P. Russell, Sr., Montgomery; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Sandra Smith and her husband had recently returned to Montgomery after 40 years of living in Tennessee and Texas. She was a wonderful wife and mother, and a friend to many.
