S. Helen Johnson, 85, Sarasota, died March 30, 2004. She was born July 28, 1918, in Troy, N.Y., and came to Sarasota in 1971 from Titusville. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of the Incarnation, where she was a volunteer and past president of the Ave Maria Guild. Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Bryan of Sarasota; sons James of Biscayne Park, Robert of Colorado, David of Hendersonville, N.C., and Michael of Weston; a brother, Frederick of Niceville; nine grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. Visitation from will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Packer Funeral Home. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Church of the Incarnation. Burial will be later in the church garden.
