Ruth Wood, of Pomona, died June 3, 2006, at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx. She was 75. Ruth was born in Spring Valley on March 27, 1931 the daughter of Frank and Babbett (Bender) Greichen. Ruth was predeceased by her husband, William A. Wood, and a daughter, Donna Wood. She is survived by a daughter, Terry and husband, Michael O'Connell, of Moon Township, PA; two grandchildren: Christopher and Richard O'Connell, both of Moon Township, PA. Ruth's Funeral Service will be held at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville, on Thursday at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Monsey.
