MADISON, Ind.-Ruth Wheeler Butler, 95, of Madison died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at her home. Funeral services were Sunday, July 28, at the Morgan and Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, with Pastors David Leland, Bill Maginn and Shane Brunner officiating. Interment was in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Ky. Survivors include three daughters, Judy A. (Tom) Bray, Linda "Lynn" Murphy, and Diane (Tom) Ferrell, all of Madison; her son, Donald (Linda) Butler of Clay City, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 32-great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Marion and Lee Etta Varble Wheeler; her husband, James W. "J.W." Butler; a son, James Hudson "Jimmy" Butler Sr.; a grandson, James H. Butler Jr.; and a great- grandson, Jonathan Wesley George.
