(Former Waitress - Jim's Restaurant, Arnprior) At the Harvey House, Braeside while surrounded by loved ones on Saturday afternoon, June 1, 2002. Ruth Violet Ray of Arnprior at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Prince. Dearly loved mother of Fred (Bonnie), Clifford, Kenneth (Valerie), Edward and Connie Hammond (Jim), all of Arnprior, Melford (Carol) of Stittsville, Doug (Gloria) of Cochrane and Shirley Landels of Victoria, B.C. Dear sister of Leslie Ray (late Rolande), Phyllis Dumoulin (Lawrence) and Debbie Dumoulin (Donald), all of Cochrane. Predeceased by a brother, Archie Ray and sisters June Aubin and Florence Theriault. Ruth is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral Service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Tuesday morning, June 4th at 11 o'clock. Rev. Meg Illman-White of Grace St. Andrew's United Church officiating. Interment Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be most appreciated by Ruth's family. The Ottawa Citizen, 02-06-2002
