Ruth V. Williamsof BinghamtonRuth V. Williams passed away August 2, 2006 at the Susquehanna Nursing Home. She was born Ruth Vera Wickizer on March 10, 1917 in Towanda, Pa. She was predeceased by her husband, James T. Williams, owner/operator of The Main Street and Tops Diners in Binghamton. She is survived by three children, James M. Hamilton, Henderson, Nev., Sally P. Hamilton Wilk, Sebring, Fla., and Thomas (Clair) Williams, Watervliet, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Debra L. Kuykendall, Raymond L. Kuykendall, Simon J. Wilk, Patricia M. (Wilk) Massung, and Joseph J. Wilk; and a nephew, Charles (Madeline) Reynolds, Endwell.Graveside services will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Section F, on Monday, October 9, 2006, at 9:30 with Rev. Barry Downing officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Chopyak-Scheider Funeral Home.
