Smith, Ruth (Ries) Brighton: On January 15, 2008, age 98 at The Friendly Home. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert. She is survived by her son, Allan (Nancy); granddaughters, Karen Smith-Gulaskey (Ron), Linda Smith Munyan (John) and Megan Smith Branch (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Chloe and Emma Gulaskey, Quincy Munyan, Alison and Cooper Branch; nieces, nephews and many friends. Ruth left a legacy of caring as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, teacher, church member, volunteer (at Rochester General Hospital, Red Cross and others) and as a visitor to shut-ins and friends. The family extends its thanks to the caring staff at The Friendly Home and Lifetime Care Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held at The Friendly Home on Saturday, February 2nd at 10:00 AM.
