SMITH Ruth (Munson), 93, wife of the late Eugene Jr. (2005) on Thursday, March 7, 2013. Born in Pompton Plains, Mrs. Smith lived in Butler for most of her life. A homemaker, she had been a member of the Butler United Methodist Church and its Friendship Club. Surviving are a son, Glen Smith of Butler, two daughters, Barbara Dugdale of Oak Ridge and Karen Wachter of Las Vegas, NV, six grandchildren, Dave and Brian Dugdale, Adam, Jennifer, and Daniel Smith and Brandon Wachter and great grandchildren, Joshua, Ethan, Marcello and Matteo Dugdale. She was predeceased by a sister, Roberta Howarth (2012). Funeral service Wednesday 12:00 PM at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ.
