SMITH, Ruth Berk - With great dignity, Ruth Smith passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 in her 93 year. Beloved wife of 57 years of the late Isadore Smith. Loving daughter of the late Louis and Ida Berk. Mother of Larry Smith and Nancy-Gay Rotstein and mother-in-law of Tracey Smith and Max Rotstein. Dear sister of Shirley Simon of Montreal. Loving Grandmother of Cynthia Smith, Ilyse Smith and Mark Kerzner, Natalie and Joe Henrich and Brooke Shekter. Loving Grandmother of Marci Evans and her husband Tim, Stephen Rotstein and his wife Christina and Tracy Rotstein-Berk and her husband Andrew; devoted great Grandmother to Aviva and Ari Evans. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Ave. West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Friday, November 9, 2007 at 11:30 am. Interment Holy Blossom Memorial Park. Larry Smith and Family will be observing Shiva at 58 Old Forest Hill Road after the Interment and concluding Sunday night November 11th. Nancy-Gay and the Rotstein Family will be observing Shiva at 1 Benvenuto Place, Apartment 202 after the Interment on Friday, November 9th; on Saturday, November 10th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; on Sunday, November 11th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and concluding on Monday night, November 12th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Isadore and Ruth Smith Foundation c/o Baycrest, (416) 785-2875.
