<!-- FH = Shackelford Funeral Directors-Casey Chapel 731-989-2421 --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Ruth ScottHenderson, TN - Mary Ruth Roberts Scott, age 79, passed away February 3, 2014 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.She was born and reared in Selmer, the daughter of the late Holland and Beatrice Jackson Roberts. She attended McNairy County Schools and in 1954 married Harry A. Scott, Jr. She worked in customer service with Sears in Nashville and Jackson and later was manager of Movie World in Henderson until she retired. They made their home in the Old Jackson Road Community since 1981. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Henderson Elks Lodge and she loved to sew and read. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson.She is survived by her husband, Harry A. Scott, Jr.; son, Christopher K. Scott and wife Angela all of Henderson; daughter, Michelle Scott Ramirez of Tampa, FL; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Roberts of Selmer and Bobby Roberts of Bolivar; sister, Rachel Mahoney of Greeley, Colorado.She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jeffrey A. Scott in 1996 and Harry A. 'Butch' Scott III in 2004; brother, Larry Roberts. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors-Casey Chapel with Msgr.
