She most recently resided at Rolling Green Village.Born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late William Eugene and Anna Long Shore.Mrs. Weeks attended Duke University. She was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church since 1948, where she was a member of the Tommy Thomason Sunday School Class. She belonged to the Wildwood Garden Club.She is survived by her children and their spouses, Sally and Hal Smith of Easley, William "Bill" and Connie Weeks of Winston Salem, NC, and Garner and Bonnie Weeks of Myrtle Beach, SC; her sister, Mrs. William H. (Doris) Boyce of Stuart, VA; her grandson, Chris Weeks of Scottsdale, AZ, and her granddaughter, Patricia Harper and her husband, Oscar Harper, IV of Birmingham, AL and their children, Oscar Harper V and Will Harper.Services will be Saturday, March 5th at 11:00a.m. at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church with the Reverends Jerry Temple and Grover Putnam officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in Orders Parlor at the church. The interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Buncombe Street United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1988, Greenville, SC 29602 or to charity of your choice.The Mackey Mortuary, 311 Century Drive.
