PELL CITY - Funeral services for Ruth Nadine Todd, 76, were Friday, April 17, 2 p.m. at Kilgroe Chapel. The Rev. Billy Patterson officiated. Interment was in Boykin Truitt Cemetery. Ms. Todd died April 13, 2009. She was born in North Carolina but has been a resident of Pell City for the last 40 years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She fed anyone that wanted something to eat. She never turned anyone away hungry. She was a nursing assistant at St. Clair Hospital for 23 years and has cared for many people as a caregiver for the last several years. She was a faithful servant of God and attended Lighthouse Holiness Church in Cropwell. She will be missed by many people. Survivors are three sons, James F. Todd Jr., William Claude (Gloria) Todd, Frank W. (Frances) Todd; three daughters, Wanda Nadine (Tim) Floyd, Deborah Lynne (Rev. Ronald) Isbell, Teresa Darlene (Leo) Layne; brother, Jack Higgins; sister, Wanda Loretta Hendrick; 11 grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Austin Melvin, Jamey Furguson, Guy Taylor, Chris Todd, Mark Thomas, William Connell. Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City directed the services.
