Ruth Miller 12/9/28 - 1/19/11 passed away this morning at home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Brooklyn NY raised in Freeport LI until the age of 14 when the family moved to White Plains. After graduating from White Plains High School she began a career in classified advertising with The Reporter Dispatch. In 1971she married the love of her life, the late Charles W. Miller. Together they raised their daughters Mary Ann Blanco (Henry) and Melissa Hayes (Gabriel). She dedicated herself to raising her family. She leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Crystal, Marlissa, Gabriel, Charlie-Ann, Jennifer, Christopher, Shane, Grace and Violet. She is survived by her sister Mrs.Gloria Ward. 'She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.' Donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10:00am at Holy Name of Jesus Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
