Celebration of life for our Nana, who went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 9, at St. Peter the Fisherman Episcopal Church, New Smyrna Beach. Born in Geneva, Fla., December 13, 1907, Ruth moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1921 as the wife of Hal Clifford Bell, now deceased. Ruth was a secretary at the old railroad station in New Smyrna and later was co-owner of the New Smyrna Abstract Company with her husband Frank F. Lee, also deceased. In retirement, Ruth could be found twice a day walking on the beach and loved nothing more than to be surrounded by her "babies" in her extensive family. Ruth had four children, Guro Mehr Kahr Guest (aka Barbara Bell Lee Guest), New Mexico, Hal C. Bell Lee, deceased, Frances Lee Martin Roberts, Satsuma, and Thomas N. Lee, New Smyrna Beach; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
