GORDON, Ruth Marie "Fay" (nee St. Jean) In loving memory of Ruth Marie "Fay" Gordon (nee St. Jean), 76 years, of Levack, who passed away Thursday, April 10th, 2003 at her residence in Levack, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Detroit, Michigan, she married John Gordon in Malartic, P.Q. Fay came to Larchwood in 1952 from Malartic. She lived in the Dowling area before moving to Onaping. A Roman Catholic, she belonged to St. Bartholomew’s Church and was a member of the C.W.L.. A proud Canadian, she served in the Canadian Army during World War II and she was a well respected member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #503, Onaping Falls. She had been a member of the Onaping Falls Golden Age Club. She enjoyed crosswords, bingos and playing lady luck whether in scratch tickets or visits to the casino. Fay was devoted to her loving family taking great pride and interest in their activities and accomplishments. A generous woman who treated every person like a member of the family. Beloved wife of John T. Gordon predeceased 1993. Loving mother of Debbie (Bruce) Wilson of Onaping, Stewart (Wendy) Gordon of Dowling, Tim (Paulette) Gordon of Hanmer, Darlene (Shawn) Gray of Onaping, Donna (Paul) Thibodeau and Leonard (Mariette Larose) Gordon both of Timmins and Dolly (Christian) Andrews of Miami, Florida. Cherished Mémère of Ryan (Mindy), Kory (Danielle) Wilson, Travis (Katie), Megan (Nathan) Gordon, Carolyn (Boyd) and Deborah Gordon, Jason Ross, Jennifer Mousseau (Brian), Sean (Nancy) Gray, Alicia (Chad) Gray, John Paul (Tara), Rebecca (Dave) and Craig (Mercedes) Thibodeau and Memphis E. Andrews; great grandchildren Samantha, Brady, Brooke Lynn, Britney, Boyd and Cloe. Dear daughter of Alphonse and Lota St. Jean predeceased. Dear sister of Joan (Fern) Therrien of Malartic, P.Q., Lorraine (Wilfred) McCormick both predeceased, Gail predeceased (Norman Landon of Iowa), Arnold (Jacqueline predeceased) of Fresno, California, Doreen (John) Middleton of Ottawa. Dear sister in law of Bill Gordon (Colleen) of Sudbury. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Levack on Monday, April 14th, 2003 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Sunday under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #503, Onaping Falls.
