MORRIS, RUTH MAE (PORTER), 71, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007. She was a member Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Karen Porter (Fred), Regina Whitlow (Rev. Samuel Whitlow Jr.) and Toussaint Porter. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4033 Vermont Ave., with burial in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation: noon-4 p.m. Friday at A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut and 6-9 p.m. Friday at her church.
