CARROLLTON, Ky.-Ruth Mae Alexander, 71, of Carrollton died, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 1, at Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton with Pastor Jerry Ison and Bro. Carl Rogers officiating. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton. Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, 809 Highland Ave., in Carrollton was entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Paul Alexander; daughter, Paula Renee Hornback of North Vernon, Ind.; son, David Wayne Alexander of Carrollton; and one grandchild. Her parents, Samuel Henry and Janetta Frances Ward Nutgrass; and daughter Sherri Ann Alexander preceded her in death.
