MORRISON Ruth Elizabeth (nee Anderson). August 17, 1939 to June 2, 2004. With family at her side at Royal Jubilee Hospital, Ruth passed into the presence of her Lord. Predeceased by her husband, Gerald in 1985, Ruth is survived by her mother,Myrtle Anderson; her sister, Winnie (Eldred) Williams; her brother, David (Maria) Anderson; numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Ruth graduated from Victoria High School in 1957, took nurse's training at Royal Jubilee Hospital and obtained her RN in 1960. She took further training in tropical medicine in London, England and mid-wifery in Scotland followed by extensive travel through Europe before returning to Victoria to pursue her nursing career. Following a private graveside service at Royal Oak Burial Park, there will be a celebration of Ruth's life at EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH, 2121 Cedar Hill X Rd., on Monday, June 7, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
