Ruth M. Williams, 95, Nokomis, died Aug. 9, 2004. She was born July 17, 1909, in Scranton, Pa., and came to Nokomis in 1977 from Boca Raton. She retired as a seamstress. She was a volunteer at Venice Hospital and was a member of Venice Bible Church. Survivors include daughters Shirley W. Priggemeier of Tulsa, Okla., and Beverly A. Borden of Zephyrhills; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be in Pennsylvania, with inurnment in Glens Mills, Pa. National Cremation Society, Venice chapter, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Venice Bible Church, 2395 W. Shamrock Blvd., Venice, FL 34293.
