Ruth M. Andersonof ConklinRuth M. Anderson, 94, of Conklin, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2007, at Meadowview Senior Living Center. Mrs. Anderson was predeceased by her beloved husband of 33 years, Stanley J. Anderson; sisters, Irene Barney, Wilhelmina Hallford, Esther Bowman; brothers, Fred and Richard. She is survived by her loving family; three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kathy Anderson, Windsor, N.Y., Robert and Betty Anderson, Conklin, Raymond and Wanda Anderson, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Darcy Harris, Susan Whiteman, James Anderson, Robert Anderson, Deborah Gruber, Denise Cox, Christopher Anderson, Brian and Matt Anderson; 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Olga Kropa, Scranton, Pa., Bert Kruger, Pa., Dorothy and Raymond Bowen, Spencer, N.Y.; three brothers and four sisters-in-law, Ellen Kovalefsky, Ga., Edward and Shirley Kovalefsky, New Hampton, N.Y., Charles and Doris Kovalefsky, New Milford, Pa., Rudolph and Marlene Kovalefsky, Pa.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ruth retired from Johnson's China and Glass and was past Treasurer of Willing Workers Class. She was a member of Conklin Forks United Methodist Church for many years and thoroughly enjoyed planting flowers on her property, especially Roses.Funeral and Committal Services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. from the Savage Funeral Home, 338-344 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, with her grandson, Chris Anderson, officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the family plot in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
