Ruth Louise (McElroy) Johnson, of Louisville, died Wednesday at Norton Hospital. She was a member of Newburg Church of Christ. Survivors include daughters, Markita Jones and Angela Bass; a son, Ron Johnson; sisters, Mae Hobbs, Hazel Thompson and Brenda Mitchell; brothers, Ed McElroy and Sam McElroy III; and five grandchildren. Her funeral was held on Saturday. Rodgers-Awkard & Lyons Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
