SAWYERVILLE | Ruth Langham Johnson, age 88, of Sawyer-ville, died Feb. 28, 2014, at Moundville Health and Rehab. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Kirk Funeral Home Greensboro Chapel with Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Greensboro with Kirk Funeral Homes Greens-boro Chapel directing. Visita-tion will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. John-son, Sr.Survivors include her chil-dren, Patricia Allen (Richard) of Tuscaloosa, James B. "Jimmy" Johnson, Jr. (Marilyn) pf Tusca-loosa, and Donald Johnson (Jane) of Akron; grandchildren, Michael Johnson of Birming-ham, Randall Johnson of At-lanta, Ricky Allen (Leigh) of Tuscaloosa, Jeremy Johnson of Tuscaloosa, and Jamie Johnson (Jessica) of Moundville; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee Allen and Lawson Allen.Pallbearers will be grandsons and Steven Harper.Honorary pallbearers are employees of Moundville Health and Rehab.
