JOHNSTON, Ruth Jean (nee Miller). Peacefully, at the West Island Palliative Care Residence, on June 27, 2006. Beloved wife of Clifford S. Johnston. Loving mother of Ann (Tom McShane), Jane (Brian Bernard), and Andrew (Rose Gargul). Cherished grandmother of Cheryl (Mike), Tina (Jon), Lindsay, Heather, Melissa, Kevin, Liam and Christopher. Daughter of the late William and Ruth Miller of Stellarton, NS. She is survived by sisters-in-law Frances (Gerald Armstrong) of Quebec City, Wilma (Hugh Mountain) of Tsawwassan, BC, nieces, nephews and their families. The family would like to express its deepest gratitude to Pat and Bernie. Special thanks also to Gloria Timmons, Peggie Bougie, Micheline Levesque and the caring staff at the West Island Palliative Care Residence for all the support they have provided during this difficult time.
