During her long life she touched many people on this earth and left them better for knowing her. She was a loving, caring mother and a wonderful friend. There is now a void on this earth and in the lives of the ones that knew and loved her. She never knew a stranger and gave all of herself to those she knew. A more caring and wonderful person shall not pass this way again. She loved The Lord and lived as he wanted His children to live. She was preceded in death by her husband, Zollie; son, Eugene; grandson, Stephen; and granddaughter, Robbin. She will be missed by all that knew her, especially her children, Betty Skipper, James Hooks (Ann), Debbie Raines (Roy); 5 grandchildren, Cindy Gass (Tim), Trent Hooks (Chasidy), Todd Hooks (Jennifer), Gary Fillmore (Libby), Shaun Raines; 11 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.Visitation will be at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 5-7pm.
