NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Ruth Hightower Weeks, 75, of N. Augusta and formerly of Denmark and widow of Frankie Weeks, died June 15, 2008 in University Hospital in Augusta. Mrs. Weeks was born May 13, 1933 in Bamberg County a daughter of the late George Washington and Ira Mae Wade Hightower. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Denmark. Surviving are two sons, Donald (Chris) Weeks of North Augusta, Kenneth Weeks of Talladega, Ala.; a daughter, Frances (Robert) Templeton of Inman; seven grandchildren; her stepmother, Bonnie Hightower of Denmark; a sister, Jerry Smith of Manning; and a brother, Bobby Hightower of Cordova. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Denmark with Rev. Andy Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Bamberg Memory Gardens.
