ObituaryRuth Gertrude Ross, Age 90, of Lehigh Acres, FL, died on July 15, 2007, at the Health Park Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL. Born in Victor, New York, she was the eldest of 8 children of the late Judson & Jessie Miller. Mrs. Ross was a homemaker who moved to Lehigh Acres in 1980 and she was a resident of the Alterra Sterling House in Fort Myers, FL. at the time of her death. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred (Fred) Ross who predeceased her in 1993.Mrs. Ross is survived by her two sons, Gary Ross of Webster, New York and James Ross, of Bonita Springs, FL, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandsons, her brothers George Miller of Baltimore, MD; Carl Miller of Canandaigua, NY; & her sister, Marjorie Robinson of Clearwater, FL. She was predeceased by her brothers: Robert, Benjamin, Kenneth and one sister Frances.Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family between 9:00 and 10:00 am with memorial services to follow on Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Anderson Funeral Home of Lehigh Acres, 2701 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres, FL 33971. Inurnment will be held privately by her family at a later date.
